A truck shows up in a tiny cemetery with its taillights on, and then it simply vanishes. No headlights cutting through the dark, no engine pulling past us, no way out that makes sense with the loop we just drove. That’s how our night at Tyler Cemetery starts, and it only gets stranger from there.

I’m Melissa, and I’m joined by Dawn Martin, owner of the Ghost Whispers paranormal team in the Metro Detroit area. We walk you through the Tyler Cemetery investigation step by step: the abandoned church nearby, the grunting sounds outside the vehicle, shadowy movement hugging the edge of the headlights, and the moment the backup camera fills with orange-yellow glowing lights that seem to spread out, regroup, and move closer. We also talk about the physical side of ghost hunting that people rarely address clearly, like sudden nausea and sharp pain that hits both of us in similar ways during the same night.

Then we open the door to the bigger questions: Are we “manifesting” activity by repeating stories and calling spirits by name? What if some hauntings are timelines crossing instead of the dead? From there, we go full strange with aliens, UAPs, the ocean connection, and conspiracy theories that keep popping up online, including CERN, the Looking Glass Project, and why some researchers think certain truths are being buried. We wrap with grounded field talk too: cemetery preservation, cheap DIY equipment, how the paranormal community has changed, and why staying authentic matters more than chasing clout.

If you like eerie investigations, UFO theories, and real talk from people who actually do the work, subscribe, share this with a friend who loves spooky chaos, and leave a review. What do you think the “ghost truck” really was?

Welcome And Meet Dawn Martin

SPEAKER_02

Alright, you guys, welcome back to Strange Strange Band Insane, and this is your host, Melissa. And tonight I have a very special guest.

SPEAKER_00

Hi everyone. This is Dawn Martin. I am from the team. Well, I'm the owner of the team, the Ghost Whispers. Um, very good to sit here and talk with you tonight.

SPEAKER_02

Nice. Oh, they gotta see my face. So, you guys were also doing a live on TikTok. Dawn and I joined, and um, you know, along with talking about all the topics that we need to go over, every time we're on the phone, Dawn, we're like, we should do a podcast on this. We should do a podcast on this.

SPEAKER_00

We do. We do. Because we always think of brainstorming so many different good things to talk about.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and then sometimes we forget, sometimes we take notes, you know, and then we'll talk again and we'll be like, oh god, we should have done a podcast on this.

Why Tyler Cemetery Drew Them In

SPEAKER_00

Yes. This time we wanted to do it because I found a TikToker out here that posted a video of a local cemetery for us. And I said, Hey Melissa, we really need to go here. And she was like, Yeah, that place looks really intriguing. Let's go check it out. So we went out that weekend. It's called Tyler Cemetery, and it held up to everything that the TikToker said, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_02

Uh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It was probably the most wild cemetery that I've been to in such a very long time.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it like we pretty much were we were getting evidence um right off the rip. Then you want to explain like when we first drove in?

The Truck That Vanished

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so we get to this place, it's very dark, very spooky. It has a couple entrances. It's set right next to an old church. And I mean, I'm talking it's old, and the graves are from like the 1800s. So we pull in. Melissa says, Hey, you want to go to the back? And I'm like, Yeah, let's go to the back. Let's go check the whole thing out. Well, right away we spot like this old truck and it's connected to like a trailer. And Melissa's like, what kind of truck is that? And I'm like, Oh, I don't know. I thought we were the only ones in the cemetery because it's kind of small, and it but it has like three driveways in it. I don't remember if it had three entrances. I know for sure it had two. But um we're driving around. She's like, should I back up and go back up this? I'm like, no, just drive all the way to the back. And we drove around in a loop, like a horseshoe loop. So we were coming up the other side, and she's like, Where's the truck? I'm like, what do you mean? She's like, look, the truck is gone. Yeah. So that was our first thing that we seen. It was literally a ghost truck, but the trailer was there. Yeah. And I'm like, well, there's no way this truck could have left without crossing our path, and it couldn't have gone out straight because the trailer was blocking it. So there was nowhere for this truck that didn't even have lights on to turn on its lights and roll out of the cemetery. So that right off the bat was really weird, and you could tell your point of view on that part, what you thought.

SPEAKER_02

Well, when we pulled up, when Don said just pull up and see what's going on, you could see obviously that there were taillights on. Because she had just said Don's like, oh, watch there be some serial killer in there, and I'm like, and then it just and then there was someone in there because it was on, and I'm like, oh man, this isn't good. Yeah. And then it would just vanish. We we went to the next row over, and we're like, where did that truck go?

SPEAKER_00

So it it was very bizarre, very odd, like no headlights or nothing, but you could visibly see the truck, and you could tell it was it was a very older model. I mean, probably like 70s, it was a very old truck, and then for it to be gone, so we were like trying to debunk that and rack our brains, what's going on with this? And while we were sitting there, we had the windows crack down, and we heard like a noise outside the truck, and it was like a grunty sound, and we were like, what the hell was that? Is there really somebody in the cemetery with us at this time? So we locked the doors, yep, and we're like, hey, is anybody out there? You know, we're just here investigating, we're not trying to walk up on nobody or mess with nobody. Now, behind us, we didn't find out till we left, but it was an old quarry that's been abandoned. So there was no road or nothing. It's just an old quarry that nobody uses, and there is nothing surrounding us, just an old church that looks like it was abandoned, honestly. It doesn't look like it was abandoned.

SPEAKER_02

It is abandoned, it's not being used. Me and Crystal went there before we went to soup the other week, and it does say that the church is not being used.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it looked abandoned.

SPEAKER_02

Creepy.

Grunts Shadows And Physical Symptoms

SPEAKER_00

So while we were sitting there, then I seen I was looking out, I was in the passenger seat, I'm looking out the driver's side, you know, over Melissa, and I see something like go by the side of her truck, and I'm like, Melissa, I just seen like a shadow thing go on getting the chills from it. Uh-uh. Go by your truck real fast. So at this point, I'm starting to think, is it an animal or is it somebody out here messing with us? Like, what can this be out there? And we're hearing like noises out there, but we're not really sure. So she Melissa said, Well, let's do another drive-through of this. Should we go out and then go back another way? I was like, Yeah, let's do that. So we go out on the road, we pull in the other side, and as we're going back, I'm like, oh my god, I got a stabbing pain in my brain right now.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And then um, I was like, Yeah, move away from the spot. Like, it was like crippling me at that point. So we move up and the pain like went into my hand, and I remember telling you, oh my god, that pain's in my hand.

SPEAKER_02

Because it was moving all around.

SPEAKER_00

You got the pain. And then I was like, oh man, I feel like I'm gonna throw up back here, Melissa. Like, I am not feeling good back here. She's like, Do you want me to go back up to where we were? And I'm like, Yeah, I can't sit in this spot. And I mean, it was so pitch black, it was the perfect spot for us to sit, but I was feeling pain. I was getting nauseated where I thought I was gonna have to get out of the truck and get sick.

SPEAKER_02

Oh man.

SPEAKER_00

So we pull up to our original spot, and I'm like, hey, maybe put the the car in reverse. Well, before we even did that, we pulled up to the spot, and then Melissa was like, I'm getting a pain in my hand. And it was just so odd because it was right after I went through all these pains. Now Melissa was getting a pain in her hand, and she's like rubbing it out. And I'm like, I'm gonna keep a mental note of that because those are like physical things happening to us that are just alike each other.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So uh yours probably happened like 40 minutes before mine because I you're like, you're not feeling anything. I'm just sitting there like eating chips. I'm like, no, I'm like, are you okay? And then all of a sudden, like about 40 minutes later, I was like, oh my hand.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not psychic, I'm not sensitive. I I just go in there with my senses like anybody else, and my tools that I have to investigate. Um, yeah, so I'm not claiming any kind of special abilities at all either. It was just something that came out of the blue on me, and I was like, whoa, what the hell? Like, you just could tell you don't feel right.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

Orbs On The Backup Camera

SPEAKER_00

So um then we go up and I said, uh, hey, let's put the tail, put the car in reverse so we can look at the back camera, the rear view camera. And I remember when we put it in reverse, it was odd. We seen like these orange-ish, yellow glowing.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, the lights. And they kept getting closer. Yeah, then they got closer. I'm like, I forgot about that.

SPEAKER_00

Where are these orbs of light coming from? Yeah, I we wanted to do this podcast before we forgot all this. But I'm like, where are these orbs of light coming from? And then next to the car, well, first it was in front of the car. We seen like a white light flash in front of us, and then I seen them on the side of the car, so it was like all kinds of orbs of light just coming through. I I think it was probably around 11:30 midnight at that time when all of that started happening. But we would hear noises coming up next to the car too. And I think it was about one o'clock in the morning. We probably got there about 10:30. It was like one in the morning when we left, and it but I mean, we were so spooked we couldn't get out of the car because it was almost like you were being watched while being in the car.

Manifestation And What Ghosts Are

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. And then we were talking about spooky stories, and I feel like we manifested something there. What is that called? When you talk about a story and then it ends up happening. Supping thought for manifestation.

SPEAKER_00

I just watched something about that today. Um, they say if you talk something so much you can speak it into an existence. Yeah, yeah. So if you do, you keep telling the same folklore like Bloody Mary or something like that. Um, you can actually speak these into existence. And I think that this happens more than anybody realizes. As paranormal investigators, we do this quite often. We go to a haunted place, we know the ghost name, we know what's happening there, we've seen people heard their stories, so we're constantly calling upon, we'll say George. We know George lives at Hauntedville. So every time you go there, you're calling for this George. Now, if there's a spirit there, and his name might not be George, it might be Larry. He's like, Oh, they always want to talk to George. I'm gonna say I'm George, yeah, and I'm gonna talk to these people because it's somebody for me to talk to. Or we're speaking it into existence by conjuring something into the space, literally manifesting it so much that it enters. Yes, if that makes sense.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that makes I was just watching something on TikTok the other day that um people are questioning like what ghosts are because now they're saying that they're just timelines collect you know, interacting.

SPEAKER_00

I believe that, um I believe that to an extent.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, we do know we have residuals that do not interact, but I think, yeah, what if it's us in the future coming back to the past trying to communicate?

SPEAKER_02

What did she call us?

SPEAKER_00

P something P52s and P47s.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so that shit trips me out because you know I'm a movie fan, and like the movie The Sphere, like you can go on and on like Interstellar, the Marsh. I mean, you start like, you know, really thinking about it, and you're like, oh my god. And that's why they say that like aliens look bald and elongated because post apocalyptic things that happened that they had to go into hiding underground, and that's why we would look like that in the future. And I don't want to be that ugly.

SPEAKER_00

Whoa, I'm sorry that there's several types of aliens, so right. I d I don't believe aliens live in outer space personally. I think aliens live in the earth. I think a lot of them live that just my opinion, just for entertainment purposes, in the oceans, yep, in caves, like in the Grand Canyon, Antarctica. I think they're like so hidden away, and I believe that they're living amongst us.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. So now do you think I mean do you think like the cloning going on nowadays that they talk about so much? Do you think that's alien like you?

SPEAKER_00

Um, I actually just watched this thing on YouTube today that in the year 2002 or three, there was this group of people that actually started making like 3D printed faces. So this woman could walk down the street, find a find a cigarette butt on the street. Take that cigarette butt, extract the DNA from it, get what your DNA is, make a mask of your face, and then they have this quantum computer that they can download consciences to, and then they upload them into this newly created body. So it was a cult of people though, and they said they want to live forever. So they were uploading their conscience and then downloading them into these new bodies, which to me is freaking weird, very sci-fi.

SPEAKER_02

Would you do it if you had the chance to live forever?

SPEAKER_00

Would you want to be immortal? I would want to live a couple, I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

200 years.

SPEAKER_00

Do I get money with this?

SPEAKER_02

Right, right.

SPEAKER_00

Like, am I gonna be well off or am I gonna struggle? Right. 300 years.

SPEAKER_02

Right, I think.

SPEAKER_00

That would be a big depender.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I'm not. I don't know. If I was like Elon Musk, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

Just to see what you advance.

Aliens Living On Earth Theories

SPEAKER_00

Um, I also found this new thing today. Uh trying to think of it. I got it wrote down in my text messages to look it up. But there was uh a program, like back when the computers well, two things. For one, do you know how the worldwide where the worldwide web was created?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_00

CERN. Oh CERN blew my mind.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So then um when computer, it was still in the 80s when we were first getting our computers and everything, there was this these people, and they created this program. You gotta have it like the old, old programs from there, though, to make it work. I'm gonna I'm gonna see if I can pull it up in a second. But what it was is um what's it called? The Looking Glass Project. Oh, yeah, I've seen something about it. So it was a glimpse into the future so they could jump into the future to see what was going on. Now, people are speculating that's why a lot of these NASA scientists are coming up missing a lot, is because a lot of them know what's going to happen, whether it be in 10 years, 20 years, 50 years, but they know it's like the end of humanity and they don't want to be here for it. And then once they're about to expose it all, that's how it happens. But the um conscious download thing, do you remember when Kanye West put out that one tweet and it was a symbolism? But everybody thought that it was, you know, not what it really was. What he was showing you was the mark of that cult and what they were doing with making the mask, but that's when he was crazy talking, saying everybody's fake, and I believe Kanye.

SPEAKER_02

He's real, he's real.

SPEAKER_00

I do too. I mean, nobody believed him. We were like, oh, that's Kanye, you're being crazy. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

I I always do those Kardashians.

SPEAKER_00

He was actually exposing that cult, what was going on.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, yep. And he claims that they he he that they sacrificed his mother.

SPEAKER_00

I a hundred percent believe that. If you look at all these uh Hollyweird people, uh-huh, a lot of them that get famous and have to do the deals with the Illuminati, they have to give something over. Jennifer Hudson, she lost two of her family members in one day at the same time. And then what happened? She exploded and got huge. I mean, it's sad, but people do it a lot. And then there's a lot of big names that like Bob Dylan that says, yeah, I made that deal with the devil to get famous, and I don't regret it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's the one of his thoughts, too, isn't it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Um, the Eagles Hotel California, it's about, you know, about lifestyle. Chat supplement.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

One of one of the I don't remember which bandmate it was. I don't know if it was guitarist or the drummer, but I just seen it the other day. He said that he wanted to get out of it, and that's when they basically knocked him off in a hotel room.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I mean these stories.

SPEAKER_02

Chateau Marmalot, right? Isn't that where that's at in LA, where all the a lot of famous people pass?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, I don't know the name of it.

SPEAKER_02

Like where they say people like rise again, like the dead never dies there. Yeah, I did an episode on that, and as bad as I want to go to Cali, there's so many places I I mean, I have to go to the Cecil before I die. But but I'm like, LA is such an evil place, man. I don't think my sensitivity, my energy, I just I'd be scared.

SPEAKER_00

I would want to go to I guess the Cecil, but like there's a lot of places to go negative energy there. That yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So what do you think? So how many are out alive now? Well, see, usually I talk a lot different on the podcast, but we're on TikTok, so I have to watch what I say. But um, how many is it at now? 16.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. 16.

SPEAKER_02

They're all scientists, right?

Immortality Cults CERN Looking Glass

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and somehow worked for NASA. Um, here's a little interesting tidbit I found out today. The shooter that was just at the correspondence dinner the other night. My sister-in-law was a big deal. Before he became a teacher, he worked for NASA. Like, what?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, you wonder why people are gone.

SPEAKER_00

It's just it's a lot of strange coincidences, but what really breaks my heart is if you're an ancient alien fan, and I have been for years and years, we have lost four people of ancient aliens in 2026.

SPEAKER_02

Big nose, what's his name? Short gray hair, UK British. God, what is his name?

SPEAKER_00

Eric Donhausen.

SPEAKER_02

And then Wilkinson. Yeah, and then the Wilkins or Wilkinson, that one. Yeah. Then that um there I hope that they protect the guy with the crazy hair. What's his name? I love him.

SPEAKER_00

Giorgio Sukla. Yeah, I hope they hope they. I actually have him in a frame in front of the pyramids here on my wall. Yeah, I love Giorgio. And there's uh another lady on there, and I hate that I can't remember her name. Um she has brown hair and she's got these crazy eyebrows that like stand up and go this way, like they're doing their own thing. But uh she's another one and she's been coming out with videos lately, and I'm like, stop, don't say nothing.

SPEAKER_02

Like maybe I think that they're uncovering a lot of truths that are not to be told yet, and that's what do you think one of the biggest cover of the truth is that they're scared about getting out?

SPEAKER_00

That aliens are actually here. Or another theory is what if there's a big asteroid coming? And or what if we're in a simulation and they're just figuring it out now and we're going against the program be a big video game free play like The Sims.

SPEAKER_02

Not saying we are, but focuses only.

SPEAKER_00

This is entertainment. Um these are our thoughts only. Um I think that it's going to come out very soon with the whole alien thing. I think the drones over Jersey was just to start getting our minds prepared to wrap around what's going to be happening. I think when it happens, it's gonna be very big. Big. I think it's I don't think humanity is 100% ready for what's coming.

SPEAKER_02

Well, they don't want people to go into pure chaos and panic because we know what happens.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean, if you knew that something big was gonna happen, would you go to work? No, society would collapse. Well, unfortunately, I thought going to work.

SPEAKER_02

We'd have to go because we still need money.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but a lot of people want it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But I mean, they're making these huge underground places. Like, I know they used to in the fear of like nuclear bombs. Yes. Yeah. Well, now they have like whole cities underground. So the people that are going underground, they're gonna be safe. There'll be some people left on the outside up here and the upside down that are gonna be safe, but I think it's gonna take out mostly everyone.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, what goes what goes up must come down. What is down is up. So I'm a big um look, I wanna bring I wanna bring this up because I know you'll want to talk about this. So NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. So why are we not in the ocean more? Why are we always so fucking eager to go up to space? We keep seeing this shit, and yet we don't, and you know that we have the technology to get down to that ocean. Why are we not down there?

SPEAKER_00

We have only discovered, I think, 10% of our oceans, and we quit. But why? And it's because our Navy is out there filming these spacecrafts coming in and out of the water just off the coast of California. When these big drones were coming in Jersey, they were filming them coming out of the Atlantic Ocean. So now we're talking about the Atlantic and the Pacific. And that's not even all the other oceans around the world. A lot of countries are very open with their people. Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, they film it, they put it out for their people, they talk about it constantly. They find alien remains, they give it. I think we have aliens already. I think we've captured them before. I think we've captured them now. I think we've already figured out their technology, and that's why we instated our new armed force for Space Force. It's just like Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and space now. So we did that for a reason. And I think uh I think fighting wars in other countries, we should be saving it right now for the bigger war that we are probably going to have. But I mean, would you want to go in the ocean if you knew the aliens were there?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, yeah, because I want truth. Like I'd I mean, it'd be scary as hell, but I want the truth.

SPEAKER_00

I think that's why they well, they always tell people too, don't talk to dolphins.

SPEAKER_02

I know, I'm glad you brought that up. Yes, because they're so intelligent.

SPEAKER_00

I know it's something like so crazy, but I mean, these are the kind of things that they're telling us. So when you're telling us things like that, it makes us want to do it a little more.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, hell yeah. So let me ask you this. So these supposed scientists that were either Aeon alive or just passed away, natural causes, whatever. Do you think that they're actually wiped off of Earth or do you think that they're in hiding?

SPEAKER_00

I think the ones that they've went missing, they've captured and took them someplace. Um okay, here's here's a little controversial. I think a lot of times when people go missing, it's not because they're gone. I think it's because they were captured and brought somewhere else. If there is no traceable evidence, we're gonna just throw this out here for entertainment purposes. Um, the Malaysia flight, a whole airplane of people that just disappeared with no wreckage, just vanished. Bermuda Triangle planes vanishing. Um, people forget we had the Philadelphia project where we made a whole entire Navy ship disappear and come back. And when those men came back, some of them were like embedded into the metal. So we know either how we know how to take things and put them in a different time. Right. We we already understand the time travel. I know there's this video I haven't got to a hundred percent debunk it, but it was uh interview of um a news lady and she was standing outside doing an interview, and it was like a little portal kind of you could see the waviness, and a guy walked right through it, and you're like, what the hell? Like, why is nobody really talking about? Why are we keeping that stuff so quiet? Because we don't wanna we don't wanna know.

SPEAKER_02

Well, this is why we do what we do, because we want truth. We like truth, and we we do also like to debunk stuff. We don't just sit around being like, oh, everything's paranormal, everything. No, like it's a lot of research, it's a lot of time spent, it's a lot of editing, it's a lot of like listening, re-listening, re-watching to your eyeballs feel like they're bleeding and they're dried out. You know what I mean? Like, and we don't get paid to do this shit.

SPEAKER_00

And there's a lot of times we pay good money to go to places and don't get nothing. Nothing, not a scrape.

SPEAKER_02

It's the same thing as hunting. Like my husband said. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

When he hunts live restrictive for some audiences.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm not gonna remove Don. Consuming substances featured in this live could harm your health. Okay, we're not 12.

SPEAKER_00

This is for entertainment purposes only.

SPEAKER_02

I think they're talking about the V A P E S. Both of us. Mm-hmm. Okay. So did we get did we get kicked out? No.

SPEAKER_00

We got one viewer. If the one viewer can just put an emoji.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, if you could just put something so we make sure that we're are we're still on live.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, it says consuming substances. Stupid. Anyway, we won't we won't do that no more.

SPEAKER_02

Um I think I might have to restart the live. That's okay. Or we can just talk on here. Who cares?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, tick to. Oh no, someone joined. Wan, can you make can you put an emoji on so we can see that you're still on, so we know that we didn't get kicked off. Debbie, can you give us an emoji, please? Hi, Sean. We got we got trouble.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I didn't know if it was us talking about our conspiracy theory.

SPEAKER_02

It's just like people have been bugging me for so long to get onto um YouTube to do my podcast. I'm like, absolutely not. There's way too many thresholds that like I have a guy on my Facebook that has that tinfoil uh tinfoil hat podcast, and he just got slammed and had to redo his whole page. Debating theories on aliens UFOs and government conspiracies. Hey, can you guys go ahead and give us an emoji, anyone who's watching, so I can see that we can still be active on here.

SPEAKER_01

We don't know if we gotta restart it.

TikTok Flag Break And Reset

SPEAKER_02

I think we do have to restart it. J-Lo Save people. Tiki won. Oh, he's gone. Oh boy. Okay, I'm gonna we're gonna take a break on the podcast real quick, and then I'm gonna restart our live since we're schoolgirls and we're 12.

SPEAKER_00

I could start it on mine and then add you if you go, do that.

SPEAKER_02

Do it on your ghost whispers page so that you get.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I gotta go grab my tablet.

Cemetery Recap And Burial Ground Search

SPEAKER_02

Okay, what do we're gonna take a break? Alright, you guys, we'll be right back after our break. Hey everyone, we are back with all things spooky, conspiracies, and all the in-between. And Dawn is back on her live because, like you guys heard, we did get flagged. Uh, you never know on TikTok. So, anyways, Dawn, go ahead, proceed with the show. You got a lot to talk about.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I'm Dawn Martin. I am the owner of the Ghost Whispers. We're a paranormal team here in Metro Detroit area. Uh, thank you again for having me on, Melissa. I love coming back on your show and talking about all things paranormal, spooky, our adventures that we go on together. Yeah. We had another adventure together we didn't even get to talk about yet, where we took you to the Beal Manor in Fremont, Ohio.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes. That was quite the time. It was a short stay, but a lot happened.

SPEAKER_00

It did. It was a a lot. I've been there over a dozen times, and we had things happen that night that I never experienced there before. So I don't know if it was the house was just vibing different that night. Um, but we were also talking about Tyler Cemetery. Shout out the TikToker that um put a TikTok out to show us, but um I can't remember their name off the top of my head, but yeah, it was everything intense. Like they said, it was uh ghost car to orbs of light, and we were on TikTok live that night, and we were catching the orbs of light on TikTok live. So over there was green.

SPEAKER_02

The quarry, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, um, right over the quarry there was these orange lights. Like we put the car in reverse. I'm like, let's put the truck in reverse so we can have the backup cam just to see what's behind us. And we seem like these glowy orangey lights, and but they were like spread really far apart, and then they would come closer together and they were coming at us. Yes. So I mean, and um a lot of like grunt sounds where we thought other investigators were in the cemetery with us, and we were seeing a lot of black shadowy things in the cemetery. At one time it broke the light in front of the truck, the the headlights. Like it walked in front of the headlights and broke the the light barrier.

SPEAKER_02

What about that orb thing that we see now? I'm like, oh god, are we gonna see a fairy again?

SPEAKER_00

Because that was that we we caught that while we were on Facebook Live. That was incredible. I've never got to see an orb of light in my face like that before.

SPEAKER_02

Right, right. Yeah, it looked like someone like if you were to like flip a quarter, but like think of like a mirror and like someone shining a spotlight on it, that's how bright it was. It was like this big. Can you see me?

SPEAKER_00

It was quite amazing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it wasn't real big. It wasn't like this big ball of light.

SPEAKER_02

It was only like this big.

SPEAKER_00

Um, so we first dealt with because this is already recording on the podcast, we don't want to go over everything twice, but there was a ghost car, there was a lot of grunting, there was a lot of orbs of light, there were shadow people, um, big black masses, things coming up next to the car and then ducking down.

SPEAKER_02

Well, we were telling spooky stories.

SPEAKER_00

We stayed out there for a few hours.

SPEAKER_02

We were telling spooky stories, and I feel like it was all coming to that cemetery.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So we might have we were actually out looking for another cemetery that was an abandoned Indian burial ground. Yeah. But it's been abandoned for so long that there's houses all around it now, and it's just like a really well-kept piece of land that we thought it was somebody's front yard, honestly. We had to go there. Like it would have been anything. Yeah, now that we know exactly the coordinates, I mean, this place was so hard for me to even find. I Google searched it and it came up on an old map quest. So it was like those kind of directions. But when you pull it up on Google Maps, nothing comes up.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_00

So it was kind of hard to find. And we were in the dark trying to find it. We figured it out at like three o'clock in the morning when I was already at home looking at the phone, like, where is this place? Can't go to bed until we figure it out.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god. And um But that was Do you feel like since And you have Oh, go ahead. I was saying, do you think because you have native in you, do you think that you're more prone to finding those little gems? Like you have to see them?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what the the draw to it is, but it's I've always had a a fascination with the Indians and the burial sites in particular. Like I wanna visit them and give my respects, like, not to be disrespectful. I don't want anybody to think that, but just to like pay the the good respects and I don't know. And treasure the life. Something that draws you in, though.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, for sure. It's it's like hidden.

Cemetery Care Tapophilia And Cleanups

SPEAKER_00

I I feel like cemeteries in general, I'm very drawn to. Um, like I feel like I can't stay out of them. I feel like I just need to be in one all the time. I don't know what the fascination with it is, but I've always been that way. Yeah, there's a there's a word for that. Some people are like that.

SPEAKER_02

You know that there's a word for that if you're like obsessed with cemeteries. Oh. Did you know that? I didn't. Obsessed with cemeteries. Okay, so tapophilia, the passion for enjoyment of cemeteries, often involving photography, history, and genealogy. Tombstone Taurus. Um, oh, this is the one that I remember from TikTok. I don't know if I'm saying it right, but coin comin coin atrophilia, a term for special five curiosity. I don't know how to say it, but so it's funny.

SPEAKER_00

Um, just one year ago today, I was actually in a cemetery, it popped up in my Facebook memories, out there scrubbing the the stones that were covered in moss with D, it's called D2 cleaner. You use that in water, a scrub brush, and a scraper. And it makes them look that big white color.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, that's great that you I know bright white.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. So I love going to Cemetery. I mean Savannah go there several times a year and we pick up the trash. Uh and I'm talking like old, forgotten, historical ones that are like literally in the middle of a neighborhood that nobody visits. Yes. Um we go and we clean them up. Yep, we go clean up the trash, pick up the sticks, make sure they look good. Savannah goes around and unburries stones that, you know, the earth starts growing over, and we'll take our cleaner out there, make sure they're scrubbed up so more generations of people just like us can go out there and take care of them. And um, one day, I don't even know how I did it. It was like I a GPS in my brain or something, but I walked behind this really tall stone and I was crying because somebody spray painted it, and I was so upset over it. And I went behind it and I seen like this little dip in the sand, and I was like, what's that? And I started poking at it with a stick. I don't know why I was digging a hole, but I found a whole sim a whole gravestone buried like literally up to my kneecap. So now I go there and I keep undigging it because it's so far down in there, and it's not like you can just put your fingers in there and pull it up. So I know it's gonna eventually get covered again by the earth, but I'll do what I can do to make sure that people know it's there. And another little interesting thing, it was like about 10 years ago, somebody had dropped off cremate cremation remains in that cemetery.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I remember you telling me this. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

They just didn't want them.

SPEAKER_00

So they just didn't want them no more, and they dropped them off in there. They figured, well, it's a cemetery, and maybe their family, because this place is a German one, so maybe their family was German, I don't know, but it was quite interesting. But yeah, me and Savannah, we love going out and cleaning.

unknown

Um, we do Wayne Historical Cemetery every year with them.

SPEAKER_00

They haven't did their big cemetery cleanup yet this year. I've been emailing them to make sure that we can get in there to help out with that. We do the um the girls from phenomena team, they do the adopt a highway, and we volunteer our time to go and clean up trash all the way from Eloise Insane Asylum on Michigan Avenue. Like, we'll do it for a mile where we do both sides of the road. Like four miles. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I know I think so.

SPEAKER_00

Like, we like doing a lot of charity work for the community. Like wherever we can. That's local to us to help keep things nice and clean and neat.

SPEAKER_02

You guys, again, this is gone from the Ghost Whisperers. So where can you where can they find you besides TikTok?

Ghost Whispers Origin And Where To Find Them

SPEAKER_00

You you can find me on Facebook. And um, yeah, that's it. Facebook and TikTok right now. Because our other pages got shut down and we're rebuilding them, but we're an established team. It don't look like that on Facebook right now, but we are. You are we're just um rebuilding our our pages up again. Our team evolved, I guess we would say. So now it's basically me and Savannah, mother-daughter going out, still doing what we love. Savannah's literally been doing this since she was four with me. I've always taken her out to cemeteries and little ghost hunts, and yeah, so she developed a passion for it when she was 18. She was like, I want to join the team. I was like, come on, join my team, then I'm on, and then we uh we ended up breaking away from that team and joined an all-female team, and then then I was like, you know what? The owner of that team was moving away. Let's create our own little thing, and here we are today, still going.

Three Spooky Items To Save

SPEAKER_02

Dawn puts a lot of time and energy. Um, she has an awesome logo that was handmade for her, just for her. Um, she has a lot of merch. She has actually Dawn's planning on coming onto the podcast more, and she's gonna like start like doing giveaways on like her merch and stuff. Now, I wanna do a quick uh QA with you because you're so interesting. Um so you're in your spooky room right now, so if you if you had to run out of your house and grab, obviously you're gonna grab Eddie too, right?

unknown

And the dog.

SPEAKER_02

But if you could only grab three spooky items out of your spooky room, what three items would they be and why?

SPEAKER_00

Well, I'm definitely grabbing my dolls. Uh that's I'm just gonna call that one because if I had to pick between all of them, it would be Ouija. Um, I would grab my paranormal equipment, my especially my font box that was made for me by Jeff N. Like it's made from the wood from Madison Seminary in Fairfield County. And I would have to grab my either my Ouija board or my crystals. That's hard, isn't it? It's fucking hard. It's hard because I'm looking at the voodoo dolls. Like, I'd want to take that, but I'd want to take all my haunted relics too, and just different places. Like, I have cabinets just full cramped full in here of just a lot of stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Don has like items from the poultry guys. Go ahead, go on, tell him.

SPEAKER_00

Um, I have uh wood chips from like the poultry guys chair that I got from Creepy Crates. Um I got stuff from the conjuring house. I have things from um Billy Creek Village. I have stuff from Madison Seminary, Beal Manor. Eloise. I'm looking around right now. Eloise. I have, I actually went metal detecting on the sheriff's side, the sheriff's office next to Eloise with the Wayne County Sheriff, too. We were in, it was like we hit pay dirt one day and we found a whole bunch of pottery, and that's before they found it. So we went through and we grabbed little garbage bags out of his car, and we were just putting all kinds of pottery in our bags. So I found medicine bottles and plates and cups and all kinds of things, so I brought that home. Um I I volunteered a lot of my time for a lot of years at Eloise for the Paranormal. Sure. Never even got paid for it. Um, like a lot of us Michigan teams did.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

And uh and it was worth it. I mean, we all loved that building so much, and unfortunately, it's just not the same. No, it's not as haunted as it used to be. I think they um, I think those spirits kind of that we knew are not there no more, or they changed the story, or they moved on.

unknown

Yeah, yeah.

Hard Truths About The Paranormal Community

SPEAKER_02

So I'm gonna stick with the theme three, because three is my number, right? So, and 13. Okay. So I asked you three things that you would take. Alright, so I'm gonna ask you from two years ago up until now, what are three things that you've realized have changed in the paranormal community within yourself, and what did you learn from them?

SPEAKER_00

In the paranormal community, I see a lot of teams, brand new people, and some even older, but mostly the brand new people that are coming in and thinking they're experts. And they they want to tear you apart and tell you what you're doing wrong or how you don't have this high-tech equipment. Um, I tell everybody how to make equipment for dirt cheap, how you can make things for$20, like REM pods and music boxes. Like, you don't have to buy the big fancy stuff. You can you can always start cheap, and there's YouTube. They teach you how to make your own equipment. Um, so don't listen to other people. Nobody is an expert in this field. I don't care how long they say they, I don't care if they've been doing it for 30 years, they're not an expert. This field is so vast and big, and there's so many subtypes of the paranormal. Some people are in it for research, some are in it for scientific. There's so many different reasons that people are in it. It might just be a passion or a hobby. So don't ever let anybody tell you they're doing it wrong. Um, what was the other questions?

SPEAKER_02

So, like, what are three things that you've learned in the last two years from like yourself being in the paranormal community? Like you either like your own team, you, and like the whole community. Like, what are three things that you see, seen or see still, and that you've learned from? So that's one thing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, don't be an expert. Um, people will use you in this field to further themselves in this field, and you don't have to be everybody's cup of tea. Be your own authentic self and do what makes you happy, and however you gather evidence is good for you. You don't have to share everything with everybody either, unless you want to.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

There's a lot of people that have just really take advantage of you in this field and use you for your contacts or your experience, and it's fine if they want to. Hi, it's you know, if you're wanting to show people how, but just don't let people use you. I feel like that was a big lesson I had to learn over this past year. Um, evolving in yourself, that's another thing. Like there is nothing wrong. You're not the same person you were a year ago, and that's great because that means you're growing as a person, you're constantly learning because the paranormal is so vast that you have to evolve with it. You you're not gonna, I don't believe in the same things that I believed in seven years ago. I my it's so much more. Like I always thought, oh, it's just ghost. You know, it's just this or that. I didn't realize how deep and intricate everything gets as you go along.

SPEAKER_02

Right. So that that I think that's great advice. And I always like the listeners out there, like I have a a lot of listeners that I really try to get to engage, like, you know, now on the bus route um app directly through there, you can send me a direct message, it will come straight to my phone as a text, or you can leave like a voicemail. So a lot of people don't engage. I I see this, but they're downloading and I like it. But I'm always like, you know, I wonder who out there does what we do and who is just like really fascinated by it, and who is just like, oh come on, this is bullshit, but they can't stop listening to it, you know. So for the people that are listening that do do this or want to do this, I like from someone else, you know, wise words and what we've learned, all of us have learned from being in the field, you know, and how we've evolved, right? So I like to ask questions.

SPEAKER_01

I like that.

SPEAKER_02

I like QA's. All right, I got three more for you. These are short ones, okay? QA's. Okay. Okay, yay or nay on each one of these famous people. You can explain why, you don't have to. You can just say yay, nay. Okay? Yay, nay game. Okay. First one, Steve Shippy.

SPEAKER_00

Yay.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I think he's legit.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, cool. Have you been to the Steve Shippy museum?

SPEAKER_00

I have not.

SPEAKER_02

The Geo Box is badass. If I had the money.

SPEAKER_00

I have got to use a Geo Box with Jeff Fent. Geo Box 2.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I was gonna bring him up. If I had the money, I would love for Jeff Fent to make a huge ass geo box for us. That would be so dope. That'd be so much money.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, that's basically what we all have. He just he created the Fent boxes from Geo Box, so I know. But I have got to use the original Geobox.

SPEAKER_02

Every bit amazing. I just want like a wall one, and I want to walk up to it and say, tell me everything I want to hear. Like a mirror on the wall, you know? Okay, um, second one. Oh, hold on, I had these in my head. Steve Shippy. Um, okay, the Warrens. Yay or nay.

SPEAKER_00

I say yay.

SPEAKER_02

See, Tom.

SPEAKER_00

I think I think they were leaders that really taught people about the paranormal. I think the paranormal would still be a lot lower without them exposing.

SPEAKER_02

Paving, paving the way. So Tom and I got kind of got into like a heated discussion through text messages the other night because he was like, Oh, I watched this documentary and I told you they were fake. And I'm like, here's the thing, like, they might have dramatized some shit, and they but they were in the field way before that. They were had already been in the field, they were already paving the way. I feel like they were trendsetters for us, so that people, it wasn't so woo-woo.

SPEAKER_00

Hollywood made them look fake.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

Doing Annabelle movies and conjuring movies and things like that.

SPEAKER_02

That's interesting.

SPEAKER_00

And if they couldn't help somebody, they would refer them out to somebody that could help.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

Why Paranormal Popularity Helps And Hurts

SPEAKER_00

They were there to just give advice and do what they could do. Not everybody can go into a house and say, I'm gonna rid your house of ghosts. You you you have to go through a process and know what you're really doing to rid this house of ghosts. And not every ghost is the same. You're not gonna be able to help some people where you can help others. So I think that's where people's misconceptions come in.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so I'm gonna skip this third one, but I'm gonna ask a new question. Why do you think so? During the during the pandemic, you know, like paranormal like really took off, right? In Hollywood and on TB. Now we're seeing a decline again. So do you think that's better for people like us that are actually in the field, like legitimately in the field, or do you think that hurts us?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so I might be a little selfish in this, but I think it actually helps us. Okay. I think when people got bored and they were wanting to do ghost hunting and getting into it a little more, they were actually they're hurting us because it's harder for us to go and book locations. Before five, seven years ago, everything was open all the time. Now you're like months and months out, like everything's book solid because there's all these brand new teams. Right, right. Selfish me says, but then grateful me says, yay, because they're contributing, they're sharing evidence, they're sharing ideas, thoughts, concerns, you know. Um, yeah, I think everybody has something to offer, especially if you're if somebody's doing a podcast or going on Facebook and telling me a story about something I appreciate. I I appreciate them sharing their story and letting us know because that's something we might want to try, we might want to do somewhere we might want to go. So yeah. Cool. I like it. I like it and hate it. It's a double-edged sword.

SPEAKER_02

Sure. I like that. I like how you explain that. I love doing cues and a's with people that I interview on here. I just, it's so fascinating for me. And you want to know something? I never write these questions down.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I love it. I love that you can think of those on the spot.

SPEAKER_02

I because it's certain people that I get, I'm like, okay, I think I know, I'm gonna ask her.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Those are good too.

SPEAKER_02

Thanks. Your answers were great. You went, you're very, um, you explained very well, I think.

Salem Encounter And A Disappearing Woman

SPEAKER_00

And I thank you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I did just share a story because it just happened a few days ago. And when I went to Salem, Massachusetts with my husband, who, which does not like ghosts at all, but we were standing in a cemetery. If you go to my Don Martin Facebook page or Ghost Whispers Facebook page, the stories on there. Um, we we were in the cemetery, we were about 10 stones in, and a woman walked up to us and she said, Hey, did you happen to see that first stone when you walked into the cemetery? And I'm like, Yeah, I probably took a picture of it. And I was like, why? And she was like, Oh, well, it's 300 years to the day today on that stone. And I was like, No way, really. So I turned to my husband and we start talking, and we went to walk over there. The woman was gone. That it still gives him the goosebumps. I know he told Melissa the story when she came over.

SPEAKER_02

He was legitimately still scared telling the story. I could see it in his face. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And it happened eight years ago when we went, and it just popped back up in my Facebook memory, so I shared it again with the story, but that was the only time I've ever had a spirit manifest and talk to me like that, and then disappear, just to tell me a story of something I should look at and then disappear. And if you've been to the cemetery, there's no high walls, it's like very low high. Yeah. You can see all around the streets. I took pictures to show that she was just gone. I'm when he seen she was just gone, he was like, I'm out of here. You see that building over there? I'm standing on the other side of that building and I'm done. So he kind of he split. He was like, Take time, but I can't be in here this scared me. Yeah, I mean, I like when people tell stories like that because they're it's intriguing, and you're like, Oh, I want to go there and see if I can experience this kind of thing too. Like, uh I like going to places on their anniversary.

SPEAKER_02

That's really yeah, that's intriguing. That's smart too.

SPEAKER_00

Which I think the bath school just happened 100-year anniversary. Did it happen already? Did I miss it? I think it did. Was it this year or last year? Yeah. I think, um, I think on anniversary dates like that, spirit is more connected to their final resting place. That's just my little theory alone, but I think um the first sometimes you get lucky.

SPEAKER_02

The first apparition I ever seen was at Eloise's um on the third floor. And then there was another time at Eloise after the Wranglers. So Linda did a um last call and wrangled the. I think we were on the fourth floor, and I seen this young kid walking into the room and then he disappeared. Gave me chills. But I'm gonna tell you the scariest one because this is actually coming up on the anniversary that it happened.

SPEAKER_00

I got the a I got the apparition on a picture on the fourth floor.

Local Legends And The Car Push Spot

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So May, it's actually May 4th, of course. You know, May the 4th be with you. Alright, this happened almost. No, so the pandemic was six years ago. Okay, so this had to be like at least five years ago, right? I'm talking to my one girlfriend on the phone, and I I always walk up and down. I like to pace at night and walk when I'm talking. I'm on 14 mile and I'm walk- you know, I always feel safe, but I see this girl, this woman walking towards me, okay? And she has like old lacy lingerie like nightcown on, okay? And I I'm like, oh, that's weird. So she has no shoes on. Okay, barefoot. Her toenails looked like it had blue tie uh blue nail polish on it. I'm like, oh, okay, maybe she just I wouldn't walk like that with glass and shit, but whatever. And as she passes, so like right before we pass, I felt very like my brain was like on fire, and then I went really cold. And I looked over at her and she was, it looked like she was so distraught, sad, um, lost, and I was just like, oh my god, like I can't explain the feeling. I was just like, I could not shake it. And my old friend Corbus, not the girlfriend I hang out with now, but she was like, hello, hello, are you Mel, are you there? And I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'm like, I'm just I don't know if something like I just passed this lady. I just I have a bad feeling. Like, I feel like she got out of her bed in the middle of the night. I don't know if she was in trouble and she like hurried up and got out, right? That's the feeling I got when she passed. And then I got really upset. I started crying. And Chris was like, I want to know what the hell is going on because there was this like noise on the phone. It was so loud and screeching. She's like, I kept screaming at you, telling you, Mal, Mal, what the She's like, I thought you got hit by a car. And I'm like, what? And I'm like, oh my god. So I'm actually getting a little bit of a headache talking about. So I like got to the house, go in the garage, and I come back out, and I'm like, no, screw this. Like, I think something's wrong with her. Like, I want to go check on her. It was just like an overwhelming sad feeling, right? I'm just like, something's wrong with her. So I go back, I go walk back down the street halfway, and these I didn't know that they were foreign. Poor people, they don't speak English, but they were like unloading their car with groceries. And I'm like, I'm like, hi, hello to the lady, and she's like, no English, no English. And I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry. So her husband walks and has the same look as this woman did that I passed. And I'm like, I'm sorry, maybe I'm weird. I'm like, I live right there on Star. I'm like, I'm not, I'm not like a weirdo or whatever. And he's like, no, you're fine. He's like, I know. The woman that walked by, I don't know. And I'm like, wait, you've seen her too? Wow. And he's like, yeah, yeah, but we we don't speak English. I have to go inside. I don't feel good. And I'm like, what? I'm like, what just happened? And I never seen her again. But then I was thinking about it, and I don't think it was blue nail polish on her toes. I think it was they were like blue. I don't know. It was like the weird, it just. I literally was walking and it just happened. You know what I mean? But my friend said that it sounded like screeching so loud that she literally thought that someone came up onto like the boulevard and hit me because it she's like, I kept screaming for you. Wow. But that was about, yeah, it was like five.

SPEAKER_00

Have you have you had a spirit actually that was an apparition speak to you? Like how we did at the cemetery. No, she me and my husband.

SPEAKER_02

She did not speak to me at all. She looked at me like her eyes were like this. Like she looked like zomped out. She hadn't slept in a hundred years, and she had cried for like 50 years. But she like looked at me. And I like, I like as soon as I passed her, I felt overwhelmed and sad, and like something was wrong. So maybe she passed and was like pass, like literally passing me, and like maybe she didn't know what was happening I don't know. Like maybe she was confused.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, they say down at that uh Gangong, am I pronouncing it wrong?

SPEAKER_02

No, I think you're pronouncing it.

SPEAKER_00

Down the street from Eloise's Gangong Cemetery, that there's a woman that um was hit by a car on Henry Rough, so now she walks down that road. But do you know how many car accidents they have had on Henry Rough of people trying to swerve to miss hitting this lady on the road? Oh my god. Like there's been so many stories I could pull up articles for you. Um, yeah, there's been a lot of car accidents of people trying to swerve to not hit this woman on the road.

SPEAKER_02

Wow, and she's a spirit.

Upcoming Investigations And Mason Lodge Story

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. That's like um spirit can do some weird things like people don't talk about. I know you go to soup all the time. And you didn't know right outside of soup. I don't know if you showed your friend when you were there, if you put your car in neutral, you can get the spirits to push your car. Yeah. And it that was the craziest thing to have well, you taught me that. Yeah. I I learned it from other investigators years ago. I think it's like on um one of the haunted things in Michigan sites, too, where I first seen it.

SPEAKER_02

Me, you and Tom did it and it worked.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It tried to push us in the woods. Yeah, no shit.

SPEAKER_02

And that's water down there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, there's actually Velvet Lake down there.

SPEAKER_02

So you know, you just like think back on all these experiences that you've had, and do you ever just be like, wow, like for me to say each experience back to back to back that I can remember, people are probably out there, they're probably like, wow, these they're fucking crazy.

SPEAKER_00

I know I go somewhere once a month. Like, I'm constantly booking places. You're actually going on another investigation with me this year. We are going to the Asher Asher Walton Mansion in June. And that's a place I've never been, you've never been, and it reminds me of the mansion down there in Indiana, down the street from uh Randolph. Yeah. That General's mansion. It's it has like those two different staircases to take you up there, and yeah, that place looks wild. I'm really excited for that one.

SPEAKER_02

I was gonna ask you, since I'm going by myself, how far away is that place? Again, four hours?

SPEAKER_00

I think it's like four hours. You can ride with me in Savannah. Okay. Well, I'll take my cart.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I'll give you gas.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. No, we'll be fine.

unknown

We'll be fine.

SPEAKER_00

We're going there anyway. We actually want to go visit one of our old stomping grounds, a haunted Masonic Lodge. Yes. Since we're gonna be so close to it, it'll be like 40 minutes away.

SPEAKER_02

Nice. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It was at 1851 Haunted Masonic Lodge number 66.

SPEAKER_02

Nice, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But since then it's been sold to new owners, and I don't we haven't talked to them yet, but I know they're running like a resale shop out of it. So I'm sure if they have a haunting, they're just gonna think it's something that they have in their store for sale. I hope you can get back in there. I can show them video proof, be like, no, I was in here during this whole time for seven months every freaking week, driving four hours to Indiana.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. But um I hope you can get back in there. I think you'll be able to.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, I just need to talk to them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_00

I think I can get back in there.

SPEAKER_02

Nice.

SPEAKER_00

Show them what evidence we collected, and sorry about your walls. We um I don't. We were like really investigating that night. The basement was like a stacked stone, and um, there was one wall that had cinder blocks, and it it was perfectly cut out like a doorway. And I told the owner, I'm like, there's something behind the cinder block, like, I know there is. He's like, next time you guys come out, bring some tools, we'll we'll knock it down. So we came out like two weeks later and brought a sledgehammer. We had like a little camera thing that would go through the wall so we could see behind the brick and everything. And I told him, you gotta hit it with the hammer because we're just paranormal investigators. We're not destroying your property. But if you want to do it to your own property, we'll investigate it. But let's see what's behind that wall. Yeah, yeah. So we made it this huge Facebook live, and I felt like it was a El Capone opening the vault moment. Um, we got through one set of cinder blocks to find another set. So the Masons really sealed up this real deep. So then we had to get like a chisel and try to chisel through the next layer, and we were able to put like sneaky camera through there, and it was still so much brick we couldn't see through there again. I was like, man, I would have just wished we would have like took out a whole cinder block now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. The ad to your collection.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I have a brick and I have some of the flooring from there, and I'm grateful, and I have wood. So I mean, I have a whole lot from that place.

SPEAKER_02

Nice.

SPEAKER_00

I basically got to so I have the checkered board flooring from the Masonic uh flooring. I have wood from the place, and I have a brick from the building.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, you're at 5k likes right now, lady.

Should be good. Yeah. It'd be my second time there, but it's part of the Underground Railroad, a lot of history. I love doing a big history thing when we go somewhere like that. I love giving the whole history part of it as well as the paranormal. I think the history is just as important.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_00
