Strange Deranged Beyond Insane
Where Legend Meets Danger: When “Ghost Cars” And Human Threats Blur With Co-host Carissa
A midnight hunt for a forgotten Michigan cemetery turned into a moment we still feel in our bones. No cell service, sand like beach dunes, and a parked car with no plates—then a stranger urging us to follow her up a cliff toward train tracks. Curiosity met instinct, and instinct won. The next day, locals led us in the right way, proving the “shortcut” could have trapped us with no exit. That’s the story we came to tell: when legend meets risk, and the smartest move is retreat.
From there we take you down Blood Road, where Michigan folklore speaks of rituals, warnings, and a “ghost car” that chases in the dark. Ours was a blacked-out SUV that toyed with us—lights on, lights off, tight on the bumper—before vanishing on a straight stretch. Was it human menace, paranormal mischief, or both? We break down the evidence, the timelines, and the gut checks that keep us honest. We also share a wild photo from another cemetery: an old car appearing where no vehicle could drive, and a curl of smoke rising from the ground like the earth itself breathed.
If you love haunted Michigan, true crime chills, and the messy edge where folklore touches real life, ride along. We talk research plans for winter deep dives, why back roads create perfect cover for danger and myth, and how to keep your team safe while still chasing the strange. Subscribe, share with a friend who loves ghost stories with teeth, and leave a review telling us: would you have followed that car—or hit reverse like we did?
Some places keep their secrets, but in Michigan, the dead don't always stay quiet. And this is your host, Melissa. It's strange, strange, beyond insane. It was late, too late, to be wandering down those sandy back roads that twist through the woods outside Pirochini. The kind where your headlights catch nothing but dust and tree trunks and the air feels very eerie. My friend and I were trying to find the old cemetery, arguing about where the train tracks crossed, the GPS spinning us in circles, the truck's tires slipped a little in the sand, kicking up clouds that glowed in the beams. Then, out of nowhere, a car appeared ahead of us. No license plate, no headlights, just parked there waiting. And remind you guys, we had absolutely no cell phone service. So we were like, if anyone, you know, is listening from Michigan, you if you know, you know. But if you don't, and you're from a different state, even a different country, these back roads are used for like emergency roads because they get tons of um snow up north, right? And the emergency vehicles need to be able to get through. So these are like back roads, no cell service, just completely um thick with brush and trees. So before we go on, I'm going to introduce our co-host, and she is Carissa Explains It All, and we're gonna hear from her POV what was going on that night. Hello, Carissa.
SPEAKER_03:Hello. I'm so excited to be back on tonight.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, no shit, you've been gone.
SPEAKER_03:I know, and I'm apologizing now. My voice is like kind of coming and going. I'm not sure it was from yelling. But anyways.
SPEAKER_00:Yelling at her kid. Don't worry, no d no domestic dispute tonight. It was literally just her and her kid.
SPEAKER_03:So there's um, yeah, that pure shamey. I hope I'm saying it right. I believe we are. But um I hope so. It's near uh grayling, right?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, grayling.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, so it was because it was a little bit of a drive for us.
SPEAKER_00:Should we tell about like the whole beginning before like what led us there, or should we just get right into it?
SPEAKER_03:Um, yes, we're just dying into it.
SPEAKER_00:You said just get into it?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Okay. Well, you you go first. And then I do want to talk about um that uh, you know, the town itself is like deserted. Yes. It's such a creepy feeling going down these roads. And didn't that kind of remind you like bringing you back like in time a little bit?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it felt very old. Like it felt I don't want to be offensive because I already got a bad review for being offensive about I guess I was I fucked up some um accent, and I don't think it was I think it was my Michigan accent. It was probably probably because I I don't know how to um pronounce words the right way. Anywho, um I don't know if this-did me right, but like Paul said, a bad review. Hey, at least are they care enough to listen to it and bitch about it. I don't know if this is politically correct, but that town made me feel like we were back in like Indians and village people day.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:I mean, the the town itself was built in the 1800s.
SPEAKER_00:Very old and not a whole lot around.
SPEAKER_03:Mm-mm. The cemetery was actually established. Um, I'm looking uh 1874.
SPEAKER_02:Wow. Wowza. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:And I don't know about you, but I had a feeling like um we were being watched.
SPEAKER_00:You did say that. You did say that. And so that's my I had just got the baby truck. It wasn't e I didn't even have it for a year, right?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, no, we had no, we took it for a joy ride. I think that was like our first trip. And I was some good miles on.
SPEAKER_00:Hell yeah, and I was scared because excuse me, I'm just getting over this cold too, so we both sound like shit. Great. Um, I got a little nervous because when we first got onto the the like the beginning of the road, I'm like, oh, it's dirt roads. Okay. Then I was like, wait a minute, this is fucking sand. And it was like thick beach sand. And I was so surprised how good my small, my small girl did. I got a little, you know, baby, I call it baby truck, but mid-sized truck.
SPEAKER_03:It would have been so tough for my vehicle.
SPEAKER_00:That, and if we would have had Paul's bigger truck, I don't think we would have got through that quickly. Yeah. Okay, so do you want to start with what you remember that night? Or I we we both still have a little bit of PDSD because when when I brought this up to you, Gunner, stop it. Sorry guys, my cat is bullying my big 80-pound dog. And this cat's like five pounds. Go. It's always the black cat, the baby cat. Oh such a menace. Um, okay, where was I going? Hello, mushbrain. Do you want to like yeah? Cause I was okay. So when I brought this up to you over a month ago, you were like, wait. And I'm like, did you block this out? And then when we started talking, you're like, oh my god, I remember now. I'm like, yeah, we have like fucking PDSD now. That was scary. And I know for a fact that was not paranormal. Those people were alive. So we'll just call this episode like could have been true crime while paranormal investigating. We could have been on the news. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:So do you want to go and talk about how well we were trying to find the cemetery.
SPEAKER_01:Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_03:And how I don't recall exactly trying to think. Um where were we when we ran across them?
SPEAKER_00:Okay, so what I remember is that how what was this, two years ago? It was when we ran to the UFO convention.
SPEAKER_03:That would have been yeah, two years ago. 2023, I believe.
SPEAKER_00:So the UFO convention was up in Hunt Lake, and Grayling from Hunt Lake, what was that? Like 45 minutes?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, something like that.
SPEAKER_00:It wasn't that bad of a drive. Okay, so we were Tom and Scott weren't coming up there until the next day. So me and Krissa were like, and we were all gonna go because we were gonna meet Patty and Lance because they live up in Grayling. And me and Krista. So we ended up going to um oh shit.
SPEAKER_03:Well when we went up through the woods.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, but so we went to a cemetery first and we could not wait. We had to go to Parachini. So we're we kept driving and driving and driving, and we could so like on the map on the GPS, it would show us, okay, we're like right there, right? And then we couldn't see it. We're like, what the fuck? So we kept driving around and around and around and around. And I remember being like, girl, we're going through gas, which is fine, but we're in the back roads and watch a like watch something fucked up happen, like we run out of gas or something. And so we're sitting there, not even for like five minutes, and Krista goes, I feel like something or someone is watching us. And I'm like, Well, girl, it's gotta be paranormal because this is like the dead of the night. There's no fucking houses back here. There wasn't even any houses by there, probably within miles. Like, we are in the deep thick of the woods, like deep back there, and then all of a sudden we faintly hear like someone talking, and I'm like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_03:And I thought it was like just like just embody voices.
SPEAKER_00:But then I I remember saying, fuck no, that's a real voice, and you're like, How? And I'm like, dude, I don't know. And I I thought that they okay, they actually were behind us, okay. They pulled up next to us. So here's the fucked up thing. Here's the plot twist. They were hiding in the brush because we passed them, we had finally found where the cemetery was, but then there was like this huge cliff, and then there was like train tracks on top of it. Well, there was no fucking way to get up there. So we kept sitting there like contemplating, okay, do we just leave the truck here and get out and walk? And you, you know, we both were like, nah, I don't think that's a good idea. Because what if we can't find the fucking truck? You know, it's it's pitch black, and we are literally in back roads, like there's nothing around. So anyway, so Carissa was like, I think that's a disembodied voice. I said, No, that's a real voice. We both looked at the same time and I I believe the car was gold. I don't Yeah, or a tan color. Or like a tan color. It was an old busted up car, and all of a sudden we seen faintly their back lights because they pulled up out of the brush. I don't even know how the fuck they drove out of there.
SPEAKER_02:I don't either.
SPEAKER_00:And we seen the so the the guy was driving and the lady was a passenger, right? Yes. And the weird thing was, I don't know what she how she approached us. Like she was sitting in the car, and I think she was like, Hey, what are you guys doing? Are you guys ghost ghost hunting? Yeah. And we're like, uh, yeah, we're trying to get into that. I mean, what else are we doing in the middle of a cemetery? No, but we weren't in the cemetery, though. That's the thing. That's why we thought that they were watching us, because they would have heard us talking through the audio in my trucks. My truck was on. That's why Jane knew what we were doing. So, I mean Yeah, but I think that they were watching us for a lot longer than we knew. Yes. So then sh I see her cherry from our cigarette, but I can like barely make out her face. But the dude wouldn't really like show himself. But she was adamant. She was like, Oh, yeah, we'll take you, we'll take you. Follow us, follow us. We're just gonna drive on up there. And I'm like, no, we we we can't drive up there. Like, that's up a cliff, and there's train tracks on top of a cliff. Like, there's no way that you can drive over those train tracks. And she and she's like, No, you can, you can just follow us, follow us. And we're like, no, we're not gonna do that. And then she was like, Why, why? We're come on, come on, follow. And we're like, I want I think one of us said, Where the fuck did you come from? Like, and then and then I don't know, I just got this rush and I slammed it into reverse and I took the fuck off. Like, we did. We dug into that sand, dude. Like, if our life depended on it, that was it. I was like, fuck it. If it's between us or them, it's us.
SPEAKER_03:I need to run something.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, dude, when she got out of the car, remember she got out for like a quick second? Dude, she looks like a meth head. And I think that they were they live back in those fucking woods. And the fact that they're in a car without plates tells you everything. They live back there. Yep.
SPEAKER_03:But oh my god, that and now honestly, think about it though, like it's not a bad place, I guess, to hang out because it's deserted.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, but we have PDSD from that.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. That was a very scary, like, he was adamant about it.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, come on. Yeah, they just can't come on, come on, no, come on, we'll take it, just follow us. Yeah, and we're like, mm. So here's here's the most fucked up part. So, you know, skip to the next day. You know, we do the UFO convention of blah blah. Okay, later that night, so we meet up with Patty and Lance, very respectful, uh parac, you know, paracommunity, you know, ghost and uh ghost hunters, paranormal invest gears, whatever you call us. Um, and you know, Patty was like, just follow us, like we'll take you back there. Like, we've been there several times. Anytime someone comes up here, we always like to take them. Okay. So we're following Patty, she was the one driving. And remember, Scott was like freaking out in the back of my truck. Because then we had Scott and Tom in my truck, too. And Scott kept so as soon as we got by where we were, Scott started crying. Remember? He was he was like, If something's not right here, something's not right. That's exactly where that fucking car was. But let me tell you, if you don't remember, when Patty and Lance took us when we finally got back into there, it was completely a different way. She did not go up that cliff over the train tracks. They knew the way to get in through the back. So you know goddamn well that my tires would have just popped, like we would have been so and they knew that. They knew that we'd have no way out.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. And like what no self-service, like yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:What better way to commit a crime in a in a cemetery, deserted cemetery, way up in the sticks? Yeah, no shit. I'm telling you, man, we would have been on like date line, and by the time anyone would have even found us, like, oh god. Uh that was that was trippy. That was a really scary moment, and I'm glad that we're alive. And we're not even being dramatic.
SPEAKER_03:No, no, not at all. I will say that was like as far as like car experiences with like people. Well, I don't even know if it was really a person or not, but I would say our experience on Blood Road.
SPEAKER_00:You want to talk about Blood Road? Uh, for a second we can. Okay, we'll be right back after this quick break with the story of Blood Road. Alright. Okay, we're back from the break, and of course, our minds she goes, why are we not recording this?
SPEAKER_03:We say the best shit when we are not recording. Like we're fucking hilarious. Anyways.
SPEAKER_00:We think we are.
SPEAKER_03:We are. I think we would be picked up for a sick girl.
SPEAKER_00:Like, this is the reality of real ghost hunters. It'd be way more entertaining in real life. Oh, yeah, it would be.
SPEAKER_03:I think people would find us amusing. I really do. So back to Blood Row. I'm going to read something and then tell you about our experience. So the Michigan local legend of Blood Row. They say in the backgrounds of Michigan, when the thought moves in and the night feels too quiet, you might see headlights come straight towards you. But the car mentioned before it passes. Locals call it a ghost car. Historians call it a legend. Tonight we'll decide which is which. Ooh, spooky. So we were parked like or I'm going and we parked our car in that little grassy area that we always parked at.
SPEAKER_00:And you were driving.
SPEAKER_03:I was driving, yeah. Okay. And we were sitting there. I don't know if we were looking at stars or what we were talking about, but for whatever reason, I noticed a car drive, you know, coming, and I was like, mm, all right, no big deal. It goes by us. Or is it like five minutes later? It comes the opposite way past us. And I'm like, no, I know that that was the same car.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, can we give a description of this SUV? Yes, please do. I'm gonna light it today real quick. Okay, it was like a like a newer Yukon or um what something like that. It's uh not suburban. Yeah, an SUV. An SUV, a big SUV. It was black on black on black on black. Like literally the front windshield was blacker than fucking black. Every window was black. You could not see anybody. You couldn't yeah, you couldn't.
SPEAKER_03:So it was a little bit of while we hadn't seen them, you know, so we were back to chit-chatting and doing our thing, thinking that this person must have gotten lost on the road, turned around, and was heading back where they needed to go. No, no, no. That was not the case.
SPEAKER_00:Far from it. Really quick before you continue, though. Do you remember if we got a warning, like when we were investigating? Like, do you remember anything like warning us about this? I thought there was something about a watch.
SPEAKER_03:We are no remember, we heard like a scream to the right, um, your side, like towards that tree. And that was like, what was that? And like, I know something came through a spare box. And it wasn't until that third time that it passed that we were like, maybe this is what it's talking about. Like, he into the screen was like a warning. It was a disembodied voice. Wow. I remember this so well because like, dude, I was shaking when I was driving. I really thought, like, we were so fucked.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, so you left out some details, my friend, and that's what I'm here for, because I'm very detailed. Yes, yes, you are. What I remember about Carissa driving, first of all, she did such an amazing job getting us out of there very safely. And when we realized, I think the moment we knew that we were in danger was when this SUV was coming back. It well, not only that, but when Carissa said, okay, we're gonna pull out of here, I said, Okay, good idea. And it it would get on our ass, like right on the tail end of us, and then it would turn off the light. Turn off the headlights, yeah. And then it would get r and then like when the headlights went back on, I'd be like, oh, okay, they're way back there. And then all of a sudden it would get right back up on her ass again. Now, remind you, Chrissa has a smaller little SUV, and this SUV is humongous with their brights on. And it was like they were playing like a cat and mice game. And I'm like, is this fucking real life? Or like, is this a go? You know, we didn't know at first, but right.
SPEAKER_03:Was it like some kind of dane initiation? Was they trying to rob us? Was it paranormal? What the fuck was that?
SPEAKER_00:Well, they so blood road, it's I don't know how many miles long it is. I we're not even gonna try to guess.
SPEAKER_01:It's a long road.
SPEAKER_00:I I would say it's a few miles long, right? Couple miles maybe. Yes. From tail end to tail end on the other side. Okay, so this truck had followed us the whole time out. And I know I don't know what the street's called, but I know we make a right from there, and then we have like another 10 minutes until we get out to like another main road. This SUV followed us for probably a good 15 minutes. Yeah, and then at least a good five miles, and then all the sign it just disappeared, like literally disappeared, like gone. And I was watching the whole entire time because she was driving. Yeah. So would you say that's a ghost car or would you say that was real life? I still feel it was paranormal.
SPEAKER_03:Like I do too. It was some kind of warning, just something about it, didn't sit right, which is touched to my car. I was like, we're out of here because when the car was coming back the third time, it was really slowing down, and I thought like they were going to come up behind us and block us in.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Yeah. I don't know, man. Creepy. Yeah. It was it w it definitely got our hearts racing. It was very, very intense. I was like, they're gonna run us off the fucking road. And that's another very dense wooded road. And I'm like, and I I was busting, you know, I was hustling trying to get the fuck out of there. You did an amazing job. I mean, you really did. Like you got us out there alive because knowing me, I would have like probably cleared a tree.
SPEAKER_03:But uh, that was definitely an experience. And I mean, we still go out there. It hasn't happened again, but it's definitely one that is ingrained in my mind.
SPEAKER_00:We haven't been out there in a long time. You wanna go Thursday? We can go Thursday, and then I have another um location that one of our friends, Don, gave me an idea. How do you feel about one night, or even maybe we can do it during the day? We could probably do it with Jackson during the day, like on a Sunday. Um try to go, even though the Hudson or whatever hospital that was, go go to the location where um Houdini died.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. In Detroit. Yeah. That would be cool. Yeah. Yep. Yeah, we might actually check that one out, too.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, we could go to Blood Road Thursday, or we could go. Because there's a bunch of stuff out by there. I mean, it's all wooded area. So the legend of Blood Road is that there is, you know, there's a lot. There's, you know, supposed rituals that happen.
SPEAKER_03:Um that Yeah, witchcraft.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, oh my god, ADD. Do you remember on your box from the UK, your original box? Do you fucking remember the woman that came through and kept telling us that her husband killed her? And we're like, what? And she said she didn't say the lake, she said the pond. She and then we just I know you did. You like randomly looked it up, and a man did drown a woman on that street back in like 1956 or something in a pond.
SPEAKER_03:That wasn't well in in the legends who are like the guy that murdered his wife, he dumped the body in the swamp, and at night, you know, it turns red, which is why it's called Red Road.
SPEAKER_00:Well, that, and then there's supposed rituals that have happened. Yes.
SPEAKER_03:Which is why when the I heard the witches like scream or uncle scream, uh to me, I thought it was a witch, like saying, watch out on this vehicle.
SPEAKER_00:Well, I think, like, from all the locations that we've been, let's just say here in Michigan, I think we should up our game. And this winter, because we always say we're gonna get out and walk around in the winter, and we know our fucking asses don't. It's too cold and it's icy. If we both fall and break our heads open, then what do we do? We should do some like deep dives on like these places in the history, and even if we have to go to like the library, like we really should try to dig up some dirt on these places and figure out why they're like they are.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. I would love that. You know, I'm all about history, so absolutely.
SPEAKER_00:Again, Carissa explains it all, knows every fucking plague that has ever been amongst us on this planet. I call her what should I call you? Dr. Dr. Plague. It's like Dr. Plague, but we need something more feminine.
SPEAKER_03:Plagueness. Dr.
SPEAKER_00:Plagueness. Dr. Plagness. She literally knows the history of every fucking plague that's ever been here.
SPEAKER_03:I just find certain pieces of history interesting. And she does work in the medical field, so I do, but I can't handle like blood and guts. That's why I handle paperwork.
SPEAKER_00:See, I can handle the blood and guts, you know me. I'm a good one.
SPEAKER_03:Oh no. Well, I can't even I had to get blood drawn because I got a physical this week. And the lady's like, oh, you're one closed. I was like, yeah, I cannot watch what you are doing, or I am on the floor.
SPEAKER_00:Oh shit, I love watching them draw my blood.
SPEAKER_03:Oh my god, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_00:I know, I'm a sick bitch. Well, I was probably the asylum patient, and you were probably like the asylum nurse. Probably why we go hand in hand.
SPEAKER_03:No, I think it'd be the other way around because a nurse is the one that does the pricking and pulling the ball.
SPEAKER_00:Well, maybe maybe you were like the um admin nurse, like the administration nurse.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, yeah, yeah. I gave I gave out pills. I gave out the meds. I was the drug dealer.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and you took um you did all the record keeping of all the patients.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, see? Perfect. There you go. Bada ding bada boom. SC's.
SPEAKER_00:Yep. I was a ding bat that would try and hang myself from a fan, and I just kept spinning around and around and round and round. And I'm looking at you like Melissa, are we done with his game yet? Do we need other pills?
SPEAKER_03:Yes. Yes. Oh my god. So speaking of friendship, I was watching TikTok or Facebook real whatever. And I want to read this to you.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, read it to me.
SPEAKER_03:Alright. I'm sorry to tell you this, but one day your best friend will be gone. So here are five questions you need to ask before that time comes.
SPEAKER_00:That's fucking sad.
SPEAKER_03:I know, right? It's kind of depressing. Sorry if you can hear my dog. She's got something issues.
SPEAKER_00:That's okay. So does Gunnar and he's about here.
SPEAKER_03:For you guys that don't know, I rescued her like a month ago, and she's an old girl. Um, they estimated her to be at like 13. No. She's got some health issues. She's not 13, they lied. Oh. The second bet that we saw, he said uh between 10 and 13.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, well, maybe biologically, but in her brain she's still five.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah.
unknown:Oh.
SPEAKER_00:Anyway, so uh you wanna hear some questions? Let's shoot them to my girlfriend, wicked twisted sister.
SPEAKER_03:Alright. If you could relive one memory you have with me, which would it be?
SPEAKER_00:You're gonna put me on the spot like this?
SPEAKER_03:Fuck yeah. And then if you want, you can put me on the spot. Um I'll answer the questions. I just wrote it down like I haven't even thought about answers. You go first, then I'll go, and then I'll ask the next question.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, this is gonna be corny. The memory that I would relive with you is the first night that I ever met you at Eloise.
SPEAKER_03:Oh, hell yeah. I knew you was an awesome time.
SPEAKER_00:I knew you were my tribe right away, and Krista needed um her vape went out, and I was like, here, just take a couple vapes. And she was like, Oh, I can pay you for them. I'm like, No, it's fine. Here, just have a couple vapes, they're brand new. And we like shot the shit and we were like friends like right away.
SPEAKER_03:Yes, right away. I would say If I could really like relive one, I would say it would be any type of bus being in the car driving to these locations because we have such amazing conversations.
SPEAKER_00:I know I was gonna say that one in our stupid Snapchats that make me crack.
SPEAKER_01:Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00:Dude, the over one is the best. That is oh my god. I I wish that I could like play that video on here, but I'm only audio, obviously. But that is the best snap that and the one where we're I'm like, we're supposed to be inside ghost hunting, but Carissa is smoking weed. And then I turn the camera to you, and it like makes your face or your voice all shaky, and you're like, I'm not high. I promise. Those are like the best fucking Snapchats ever.
SPEAKER_03:That was, yeah. Alright, so question number two. When we first met, did you know we would be as close as we are today?
SPEAKER_00:I don't know if I knew if we would be, like, I just knew that we clicked, like yin and yang. Like, I was like, okay, this plus this plus this bitch had purple and pink hair. Like at the I'm like, of course I love her. Purple's my favorite color. Being a hairstylist, I'm like, she just you just had a vibe that I felt safe and had fun with like the first night. Yeah. Oh, oh, and don't forget, we we shared our teeth stories. And we bonded.
SPEAKER_03:We bonded for life over those. I would say when we first met. I thought we were gonna be close, but I'm glad that, you know, like, you know, our kids are gonna become each other. And so like we have formed like a family. Yeah, you know, so I didn't think we would ever, you know, you can't mean somebody you're not like this person was going to be part of my family, but like, but very quickly I did.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, tell them the truth. I threatened you. I held a gun to your head. It wasn't a gun, it was a fucking machete. Oh, a machete. I was like, you will be my best friend forever. Same thing I did to my husband. You can say I have a lot of passion.
SPEAKER_03:You're a very passionate person. All right, question number three. If I'm the one to lead first, will you speak at my funeral?
SPEAKER_00:No. Because I can speak, uh believe me, I will find you. I'll put on every spirit box. In fact, if I have enough money, I will buy like a hundred spirit boxes just so I can have them all lined up and a Ouija board, and I'll be like, I don't need to share anything with those fucking people. Only, well, maybe Jackson, of course, but I'll be like, I can talk to her right here. Like, don't be talking about her like she's not in the room.
SPEAKER_03:So yeah, I would say yes, absolutely. I would speak at your vehicle. And it would be a positive speech.
SPEAKER_00:You all my you know, it kind of sounds premeditated. Are you mad at me? Um, is there anything you need to apologize to me about? Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure I owe you an apology for a lifetime. I'm sorry that you met me. I'm not.
SPEAKER_03:Alright. When I'm gone, how would you describe me to Jack or you know, your grandchildren?
SPEAKER_00:Oh my god. Um, fun, loyal, witty, a Gemini, a good Gemini, um, adventurous, beautiful, the prettiest, biggest smile I've ever seen. Jackson has your smile. I always tell you that. Um, oh my god. Loves life. Uh a hippie dippy has like a Janice Joplin vibe, meets Stevie Nicks. All of that combined into one. And how many adventures and well hopefully I can hopefully I don't have dementia or anything because if I lived to see grandkids, I don't even think they would believe half of my stories, but that's why we have evidence, right? And like at then at that time, I don't even know if like we I don't even know like what computers will be like, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03:Right. I mean, look at how much technology has advanced since we were kids.
SPEAKER_00:We're gonna be like that old twat from um Titanic. Like we're gonna have to like throw out our like old camcorder into the ocean. And Selene Dion will be playing in the background because we won't be able to like see the evidence off it anymore because it'll be obsolete.
SPEAKER_03:No, that's when like our grandkids are gonna have to pay for like a company to like convert it into whatever they're doing. Like, you can do that for like VHS's. Oh, yeah, you're right. That's what it's gonna be.
SPEAKER_00:I didn't think about that. Good thinking.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, but you know, our evidence is gonna look so greeny compared to like how the TVs and photos are gonna look 20 years from now.
SPEAKER_00:Oh my god, we're gonna go down in history. Yeah. We're gonna be like historic figures. That's cool. Uh I'm not ready for that, yeah. I know. Okay, let's move on. Alright.
SPEAKER_03:And question five. Do you know how many times you saved me? Do I uh some days I thought I couldn't survive, but I had to. And I saw that video and it like hit home.
SPEAKER_00:Damn, girl, you're like making me tear up. How many times have you saved me? Like I came in Oh my god. I think I don't know. I think um I will say this. I think women, as we get older, we love harder and we get a little softer. And I think I think men just need a partner and they feel better, but I think like women need other women to like lift them up, you know, for sh for sure. As Paul walks down while I'm saying this.
SPEAKER_01:Hey honey.
SPEAKER_00:He's probably like he's probably like, oh god. I thought this was a spooky podcast. Not a therapy session. He said, he said it is spooky. Therapy spooky. Thanks for rooting the moment, guy. He said sorry.
SPEAKER_03:But yeah, I think we have dealt with some ghosts. Oh, and before I forget, we're totally ADB moment. I'm sorry. It's okay. But do you remember when we were in St. Louis and you took that picture, like, just of like the headstones, and we're reviewing it at the cemetery. Or did you send it to Paul? One of the two, but somebody noticed that there was a car driving through the cemetery. Okay. And it was Paul. It was Paul. Okay. And there was no driver.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, so that's some funky ash shit. And you know what? Of course, Paul got to see it before we did because we're we're so ADD. We're so like hyper fixated. I'm, you know, we'll have like spirit boxes going, and we're taking pictures, and we're taking Polaroids, we're doing this. But I came home, it was a grave. It's a famous guy's grave. Was it a rock star? I don't know, whatever. But yeah. It was the next day, and I was showing Paul. I'm like, look, look, I wanted to get this picture of this stone for you. And he's like, Oh, that's badass. He's like, uh, did you notice behind though? And I'm like, what? And he's like, you don't see that car. No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. No, no, no. It was while we were at the cemetery, because Oh no, what's it next? No, no, no. We noticed we noticed smoke coming from the ground. And we're like, dude, they were just tired. Well, Paul is the one after I showed him that, he's like, Did you notice the smoke from the ground? I said, Yeah, it was weird. We thought it was from like one of our cigarettes. And he's like, Okay, he's like, Well, look at it closer. He's like, it's coming up from the grave, and then boom, that car appeared. There is no way that a car could have drove through the fucking tombstones. It was literally the front. See, you hear Gunner, he does the same thing as Janice. It's okay, buggers. It's okay.
SPEAKER_03:But no, like, there is no road even close enough to get a picture of the car that close. I mean, I know. And it was an older model car.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I think it was, I want to say it was an old mobile. I gotta go back through.
SPEAKER_03:Something like that, yeah.
SPEAKER_00:But you remember that, right? Yes, yes, yes. And I like I said, I we thought when we seen it, we thought it was from our cigarette. Right. But no, it c it came up and like the weird thing was is that the smoke, like, and the fog was like all in front of the grave and like on the side of the car. And I'm telling you, I mean, look, like you guys out there, like, we're skeptics too. Like, don't think that like we sit here all the time and we're like, oh, did you see that? Did you hear this? Oh, yeah, there's ghosts, and you know, we got the primo evidence. A lot of times it's just not at all. Yeah, it's like men sitting in a blind hunting. You're just sitting there. But like, there's a lot of shit that we have that you cannot fucking explain. Even my own husband, as skeptical as he is, he's like, that is so fucking odd that a car, an old car, just appears on top of a tombstone. Yeah. Yep. I mean, I there's there's a lot of ghost encounters that we've had, and um And there's a lot of things that's happened that you know is explained. Absolutely, and that's part of what we do, and that's the that's the best part of it. Mm-hmm. So, well we got we have a lot we have a lot more adventures to continue at our young, ripe ages. Can you imagine like 20 years? We're still gonna be doing this shit. Our kids are gonna be like, oh my god, you guys.
SPEAKER_03:Oh my god, our kids are gonna be like, You pick us up from the bar? Sure, we'll be there too, but hurry up, it's witching hours.
SPEAKER_00:Yep. I'll be like, you guys will get you food in the backseat, chow down, we're gonna be going th through the cemetery.
SPEAKER_03:Yep. Got no choice. Our kids are gonna think we are so weird or we are so cool. It's a total 50-50.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. We'll see when that time comes. Yeah. Well shit, you're halfway there. God, by the time Jets, I think, 14 or 15, I'm gonna be 50. At least you'll still be a young mom.
SPEAKER_03:Uh, no, no, not really.
SPEAKER_00:That's crazy. I don't know. Like, everything is like so like surreal now. And like, I remember you telling me all these things about Jackson, and I would just, you know, have empathy and just listen to you, you know. But now it's like I I feel it in my bones. Like, holy shit, like everything's so surreal now. Isn't it? Yeah, it's crazy. It's everything's scary too. Way more scary than it was before a kid.
SPEAKER_03:Because now you realize that you have something to live for, you have something to protect, something that is yours. Like you helped create this tiny human, and it's like such an amazing experience, feeling. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, yeah, you're gonna see Jack Wednesday. He misses you. He hasn't seen you in a couple weeks.
SPEAKER_03:I know. I oh, I'm so excited. Oh god, he's not gonna be. I haven't told Jackson yet, but he's gonna be deep.
SPEAKER_00:I'm so you know, I'm so blessed that like Jackson and Ryder and you know Kaylee and well Vinny, you know, he's older now, so he's working a lot more, but like all the kids really took to Jack, and I just figured, you know, they're older. All of my nephews and my nieces are gonna be like, eh, whatever, it's a baby. Ew. But no, they they just all were they're like, this is so cool, man. Jack's so cool, and I'm like, aww. Yeah. We're left. Did he say his first word yet? Yes, mama, mama. That's what he does. Mama! But that's probably because he's crying and he's just mumbling, but we say it's mama. I love it. Who knows? Who knows? What the cats are?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Janice has just passed out my lap.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, that's your girl. She really is. Alright, well, it's been good conversation as always, and go ahead and uh tell them about our email if you haven't forgot.
