Speaker 1:

Hey everyone, welcome back to Strange. Strange Beyond Insane. It's your host, melissa. Tonight I want to talk about a contest that I entered. I didn't think anything of it.

Speaker 1:

A family friend sent me this on Facebook and it's called the Face of Horror. Now I know my friend, teresa, that's been on here a couple times on the podcast. Her brother has been trying to win this, I think think, for a couple years and he came pretty close. So the Face of Horror is a contest that Kane Hodder hosts and if you didn't know who he is, he's a horror legend and he is best known for his role as Jason in the Friday the 13th franchise. So competitors will unlock exclusive interviews with the man behind the mask and the next face of horror will join the icon for a paranormal investigation and a bone chilling Rue Morgue photo shoot. So that's for Rue Morgue magazine and we first of all, there's like thousands and thousands of people. I was holding number one in the last two rounds, I think I'm in the possession round and I believe it goes until like November 16th, so it's a long contest. So one true horror fan will win $13,000 and team up with Kane Hodder for a paranormal photo shoot, and again in the Root Morgue magazine.

Speaker 1:

So who sponsors this is Ghost Corpse. They are pretty much like a. I guess, if you will like, reenactors of Ghostbusters for the media franchise. Ghost Corps is generously contributing a VIP tour of their headquarters, a meet and greet with director Jason Rettman and a photo op with the iconic Ecto-1. We are all grateful for the support. And then they're also sponsored by Beetlejuice, and anytime that anybody donates, you vote. I mean because you can vote free every 24 hours. I think it's pretty cool, but you can also donate money and it does go to a good cause. It is for Starlight Children's Foundation. Stephen King once said we make up horrors to help us cope with the real ones. While we enjoy fictional scares, real life horrors like hospitalization can be terrifying. Thanks to organizations like Starlight Children's Foundation, hospitals don't have to be so scary. Face of Horror proudly supports Starlight Children's Foundation, which aims to deliver happiness to seriously ill kids and their families through virtual reality experiences, fun hospital wear and games. So I thought that was really cool that they do that. Right now, I'm currently standing in the number two spot. Thank you for anyone and everyone that has voted, and it would be great if I did win. You did.

Speaker 1:

I had to like start off answering like a slew of questions and and I got an email and it said that I'm in the competition. So I've just kind of been hanging out and you know, seeing what happens. I know a lot of competitors on here are like like really really cool special effect makeup artists and you know, everybody loves horror movies. I basically my answers were based on the podcast. I said that I'm everything horror, I love horror movies, love Halloween, everything spooky. I even dedicated a podcast to everything spooky. So that's kind of how I got in. All right, so, moving forward, I do want to talk about how there's a lot of talk about this and I at first first when I seen it I didn't know if it was true Hit a sip some wine.

Speaker 1:

Basically, earth is going to see two moons. So this is an article and it reads Earth will soon have two moons, but not for long. According to a study published in the Journal of Research Notes of the American Astronomical Society, also known as AAS, the moon in question is a celestial body known as 2024 PT-5, that is to believe to be in the arjuna asteroid. All right, so let's read on here. So earth will get a second mini moon for two months. This year, earth will get a second moon for about two months, when a small asteroid begins to orbit our planet. The asteroid was discovered in August and is set to become a mini moon revolving around Earth in a horseshoe shape from September 29th until November 25th. Scientists from the let's see DeMadrid DeMadrid, however, you say that have tracked the asteroid's orbit for about 21 days and determined its future path. 2024 pt5 is from the arjuna arjuna, I think, asteroid belt, which orbits the sun, according to their study, but earth's gravitational pull will draw 2024 PT5 towards it and, much like our moon, it will orbit our planet, but only for 56.6 days. So I'm hoping that we can see it.

Speaker 1:

But aside from that I mean let's talk about this we had a mega solar eclipse this year which I think brought out a lot of craziness. It was so beautiful to see. Thank you again, michael and Kevin, for taking me camping to see that we were in. Um, where did we go? It was Indiana, I believe. Yeah, I think we were in in Indiana. Um, michael and Kevin found this campground and we drove, I think, 15 minutes. I forget which direction, but we went to this park because the campground was saying that if you want to see it completely you have to go to that park, and it was so cool, eerie, scary, beautiful, breathtaking. It was just. It was phenomenal to witness. I've never seen one in action like that. So we had that and we're getting another moon.

Speaker 1:

And then we also had the lunar eclipse, which was Tuesday, september 17th of this year. Um, I'm sorry, it was Tuesday through Wednesday, I think I seen it. I want to say it was the first night, um, but I watched it, I got a lot of pictures, I got videos of it and it was. It was pretty cool to see. It was, I think. I want to say it was like half of a lunar eclipse. It wasn't complete, like completely. Being in Michigan, we didn't get to see that, so but but I mean, at least we got to see a little bit of it. It was very eerie watching the moon, half of it, go black, and we've had some beautiful moons, um the harvest moon, so, yeah, that, um, I think that's pretty, pretty crazy year already, already.

Speaker 1:

Okay, now I do want to talk about this. So this was about a week and a half ago. So you guys know, I work in a barber shop now and, um, a client came in I'm not going to say his name, um, very, very nice gentlemen, and we were going over his hair, like what he wanted to do, and he basically ended up just saying, hey, I was sick with cancer and this is like my hair growing back and I just kind of like want to reshape it. So of course, naturally I'm, you know, saying I'm sorry that you know he had cancer, but I'm happy to hear that it's in the past. And he was just going on and on about like his treatment and then, um, he just got into it and it just it blew my fucking mind. I was so happy to hear, but it also made me kind of sad, because people, that people that I've lost to cancer, you know, like my mother, my grandmother, um, just there's so many people like my aunt Carol, my uncle Dave. I wish they would have known about this. Now I did look up some information and I'm kind of seeing mixed um, you know, like I guess, mixed um facts about this, because there was an Amish doctor that was sentenced to prison over this.

Speaker 1:

So anyways, going back to this gentleman, my client, so he did all the treatment, he went through a lot of his savings to get the stent treatments and at first it worked and he felt good. And then he went back to get his PET scan, which a lot of you guys know what that is. It's, you know, a machine that looks through your whole body to check for cancer. And all of a sudden, a few months later, they tell him hey, the cancer is back and it came back with vengeance, which we always hear this right Terrible, terrible.

Speaker 1:

So they started going through all these treatments with him and it just exhausted him to the point where he was like I've already went through so much money, I've completely tanked out my insurance and he has, I think, three small children. He said at this point I want to go home, be with my wife and my kids and just live out the rest of my days. So of course I'm, you know, already crying because I'm thinking he's going to tell me like he only has however many you know days or months left, because I'm very, very sensitive to this topic. And the conversation was getting dark and sad. And then all of a sudden he said said well, I found a different path and it's more holistic path, like nothing in the hospitals, nothing with actual doctors, and I am in remission and the doctors cannot believe it and I will not tell them what I went to do, because let them think it was their treatment and somehow, some way, it reversed and it went back to not having cancer. So I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I didn't ask him detail on how he found this treatment or this man, but supposedly there is a, an Amish man in Kentucky, extremely Amish In fact. If you want to communicate with this man you have to write letters or show up at his practice. They do not have phones, they don't have cell phones. So, however he found out about this man, he goes to see him the first time. He gets lucky. This guy has nobody else, so he walks in. And he didn't really get into a lot of detail because, again, you know, I'm at this point, I have him laid all the way back and I'm, I have a straight razor to his face and his neck, so you can't really talk a whole lot. Um, we're not trying to do no Sweeney Todd's at, um at the barber shop I work at. So anyways, he basically said this guy pulls out a magnifying glass. What kind of magnifying glass, I have no idea.

Speaker 1:

Supposedly this gentleman is a third generation of the Amish, whatever Amish type he is, that uses this method. And he just said he uses a magnifying glass. He can see into your body, he knows what's going on. He tells you this is what you need, these are the supplements. So they have a bunch of herbs and supplements that are all natural, of course. And so the first round, um, my client was like okay, I want to buy everything you tell me Like I'm willing to use or, I'm sorry, I'm willing to do anything at this point. And the Amish man says we don't take payments, but if you want to make a donation or don't donations, that's fine. So the man said he left a very hefty donation.

Speaker 1:

And so the next month so he said after this month goes by of using these herbs and these supplements that this Amish man gave him. He's like I felt like a million bucks. He goes. I felt like I was in my twenties again. I'm like shut up, like are you serious? He's like yeah, so then he goes back the second month. A man's looking in the magnifying glass. He says, okay, you're looking better, no-transcript. So then he gives him another hefty donation and and then even my client was saying that the Amish guy was like hey, you don't need to do this. That's not why I do like.

Speaker 1:

This Amish man is extremely religious and he's like I'm doing the work of God, I don't care about money. We live off the land. I'm rich in my land and love and my family and God. And my client responded with I don't care, I'm leaving donations. This can go towards whatever you guys want.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so that's the second month. So another month goes by. By the third month he goes back. He's like I'm feeling like I have all my energy back. My hair is growing like crazy, my eyebrows are coming back in, my eyelashes are fuller. My wife is like you know, you look youthful, my skin looked good, all my color came back. He's like my kids are hopeful. You know they don't really understand what's going on with daddy completely, but they know daddy has been sick. He's like now I'm outside, I'm playing with my kids, I'm running around, I'm going up and down the stairs, nothing's wrong, okay.

Speaker 1:

So after the third month he had a pet scan, cat scan, mri, something, something. And now at this point he's on state insurance. Right, because he's already exhausted his insurance, his savings account, doing these stem cell treatments. So now he has like primo insurance, thank god, because the guy should, right, they come back and tell him that all his cancer is gone. They are like, wow, maybe the last time that we seen the cancer came back maybe it was a glitch, or maybe it was, you know your immunity, fighting it and blah, blah, blah and just like every fucking excuse, right?

Speaker 1:

So this gentleman, my client, was like you know what? Yeah, you guys are right. And I looked at him. I said that is the smartest thing that you could have done. Don't tell them anything, don't tell them your treatments, don't tell them anything you're doing. They don't need to know, right? So I asked this guy. I said do you have social media? And he said no, I actually got rid of all of it. And I said very, very smart, because do not talk about it on Facebook, tiktok, instagram, anything. And he was like I know my wife and I have had many, many conversations about that.

Speaker 1:

So, anyways, um, just thinking about, I mean, like, seriously, think about this, right, like this man, when he, when they told him that his cancer had come back, hit, it was all in his lip notes and if you guys have known anyone that that has cancer, like, obviously I've known many, many people that have had cancer and I can talk about my mom personally, the fact that I went into the last doctor's appointment with her, like the last slew of them, and I seen like her body was lit up like the 4th of July, like they look like little sparks right and you know cancer once it travels to your left nodes and it just basically takes over. That is where he was at. It was. He was lit off like the 4th of July, it was all through his left nodes and now there's nothing. I mean, it's just like this man had me crying, he had me hopeful, he had me celebrating, he had me just. You know, and I've watched so many videos, I've done so many, so much research One thing that I know just from dealing with family members that have had cancer cancer is pretty much like a mutation of cells, right, I truly believe that it attacks weak areas on your body.

Speaker 1:

This could be like a weak, weak spot or a weak organ that you've had your whole life, or there could could have been trauma there at to that organ or that spot in your body. But the mutation of cells and at some point everybody, I mean I just feel like we all have cancer inside of us, right, and it's a matter of time until it just like completely blows off the rails and it shows up and it starts making you sick because it's now fucking up your immunity, right, and it's kind of simple what this man does he's these Amish people, like they are using natural supplements to recharge your body. Now, how fucking idiotic is this? To think that that's all cancer truly is? Is the thing the, the nutrients, the herbs, the, anything you can think of that our body is depleted of? Right, because over time, as we get older, even without age, like it could be anything. I mean, people have great immune immune systems. Some people have compromised immune systems. If it's that and it's like that fucking simple, then they have to know this already, right, and they're keeping it from us and it just you know, I know how the world works and I get it.

Speaker 1:

Life is not fair, but the rate of cancer is like absolutely disgusting. It's horrifying. Um, I just turned 36, and like going to the doctor, I mean, you're always waiting for that. You know that ball to drop. Like hey, your levels look a little bit strange. Like let's do some testing. I know friends that have had cancerous cells, like you know, utero cervical cancer, I mean anything Like. I've known people that have had breast cancer at young ages, and you're telling me that, like, some supplements could fucking like really completely reverse this.

Speaker 1:

The main thing is, though, is that I want to know what this magnifying glass thing is. Again, he did not go into detail we didn't have time, but he did tell me that he will see me in three weeks, three to four weeks, so I'm hoping to get more detail about this, but I've tried to look it up like Amish doctor. Magnifying glass you know any keywords you can think of, and I have not found anything. So if any of you guys out there have heard about this, please let me know, because I'm like just so intrigued and I'm preying on anything and everything to the universe that this does help this man and he gets to live out his life with his family, because he was like so relaxed talking about it, and he was like look, if it's my time, it's my time. He's like I.

Speaker 1:

Just the only thing I asked for is, before I close my eyes, I just want to see my kids and my wife smiling, and that's how I want to leave this world, and, oh, my god, I'm like getting choked up even talking about it, because his energy was so pure and like so good. You could just tell he's like a good man and um, you know, it really like shook me to the core, like listening to, I mean, and there's obviously more into this. But I'm just kind of like giving you guys a gist. But anyways, um, I just, I mean to think that this man I mean he's an engineer um makes very, very good money. You know lives in Macomb. It's a good area, i't say like a super rich area, but they're definitely well off in Macomb.

Speaker 1:

This man had top insurance. Um exhausted his insurance, exhausted probably most of his savings to get these stent cell treatments and he even said he didn't want to spend the money. His wife, you know pretty much begged him, like you at least try for us and the kids. So of course he did. And then he goes to Kentucky. Now I did, I can't remember what the name, what town it was in Kentucky. All I know is that he said it's very, it's like the southernmost point, almost to Tennessee, and I believe he said I think it's like an eight-hour drive.

Speaker 1:

So again, this Amish man, you cannot call him, you cannot look him up, like there's no landline, there's no cell phone, you have to write him letters or you just have to show up. And again, I don't know how this gentleman, my client, found out about this. I'm still trying to look it up and find information, but I have not found anything. So, again, if you guys know anything about this, please contact me. You guys can email me at ghostsisters2124 at gmail. You can also send me fan mail. It's like a text message that goes to the podcast. When you see our website, you can see that you guys can find me on tiktok facebook. Um, please let me know if anyone knows anything about that. But anyways, you guys, thanks for tuning in and we will be chatting soon.
